Thank you for being honest and open with your review! As a young company, we are always looking for ways to improve. We launched this brand less than 3 months ago and the initial response has been great, but we know we don't have everything figured out.

As mentioned directly to you via email, we'd still be happy to exchange the shorts for a smaller waist size. We stand by our products and want to ensure we give the highest level of customer service.

Regarding the fabric - this is a 4-way stretch nylon fabric that we sourced from one of the leading fabric suppliers in the world. They provide fabrics to leading apparel brands. It is synthetic, indeed, as they are a performance pair of shorts (not 100% cotton) with an emphasis on breathability and 4-way stretch.

Glove loop - great feedback. It is designed to thread the fingers through but should be big enough for the velcro piece of the glove. We will make this loop wider for our next round of shorts - thank you!

Vanity sizing - that's one we wanted to address with J&J and something we take seriously. We believe we've hit the mark on the polos but this initial run of shorts does run slightly large in the waist for sizes 32 and 34. We suggest ordering a size down if you're in between sizes. For example, a size 33 waist should order size 32 in this current run of shorts. We have corrected this grading and point of measurement for our Spring '26 line of shorts.

Overall construction - this is the first constructive criticism marks we've heard on the construction. The bottom hem needed a double stitch because the fabric is so lightweight, breathable and stretchy but perhaps there's a more polished way to accomplish this. We will look into it. Most folks seem to love the combination of elevated look of the shorts with the true performance fabric.
